my dad surprised me with a tablet when he came home from taiwan. i have no clue if it's a good one or not, since the writing's all in chinese, lol.

here's one of my first experimentations which i'm rather proud of.

it was going to be a layout, but it turned out a little too complex.

here's the layout version (that's still in testing stage):

It's cool but I dunno the clock.table. and piano kind of seem out of place. Everything is sketchy and then they're just there, non-sketched. The rest is really cool though.

layout's pretty cool.

You know its a really cool looking image and it seems like a really cool idea to have as a layout. I can see how it would get complicated though. I do agree with the others that the furniture at the bottom seems out of place. The piano just looks completely awkward. The angle and everything I guess. I think it looks good for your first thing made on a tablet though thumbsup.gif

^ but the two cities, clouds, and the TV aren't sketched either O_o I like it. It's very "out there"

The reason why they look okay is because they match the color scheme of the picture as a whole. If the clock, piano and table were to blend in more with their surroundings, then I think it'd match the picture much easier than it's trying to do as of now.

yeah, they look a little awkward, but there was a good reason for putting them down there (as a layout thing).

i was going to have people click on the tv in the mountain, and once they clicked on it, it would bring them immediately down to the bottom. it was supposed to be a fully furnished room (which i never finished) and there would be paintings that hung on the wall (which would be my artwork) and those would act as a portfolio navigation.

it worked better in theory than on the actual thing.

here's what it is without the furnishings

Ohhh, nice. My favorite part is the city on the left side. The tiger is pretty cool, too.

The layout looks awesome to me.

Nice job! _smile.gif

waaay cool!
I've been wanting a tablet for a while - there's a cheapo at BestBuy for $80, and I have a $50 gift card, may have it go for it!
I'm sure my first drawings will be too crappy to post here though pinch.gif

Anyways, really cool drawing concept. thumbsup.gif
Post your future doodles!
