yep, another myspace layout, also for the coding practice, but I really want to improve this one design-wise. any tips/suggestions?

I think it's very neat, clean, and simple. The photo throws me off a bit, though. I think it would look better if there were just straight borders since the rest of the layout isn't faded and grungey like the current border. The right column is too far up in IE, but you said you haven't tested it there yet. Overall, I like it.

I like it alot without any color. The grays look cool and fresh imo.. :O

thanks for the opinions.
i might (ok, most likely) will add a bit of color to it (the greys are appealing to me, i notice i tend to use a lot if it, it's just one of my things, i guess!), but it won't be much, just a few deeper things that match the image.  and i'm trying to figure out the best way to incorporate more of the grungy borders. i don't want to do everything like that, because i'm liking the nice clean lines, but i do agree that the image is sort of out of place. i thought about just maybe rounding the corners and slapping it on there, but then it just looks even more like crap. ANYWAYS. suggestions on this matter? =D ONE MORE THING. the little banner type thingy. i messed for DAYS with this, and i still can't quite find the design that "fits". the current one is actually the best, and it's just a bit of text slapped on there...heh. advice appreciated!
