Honestly anyone is better than Bush. I think Oprah would make a good president if given a chance. I don't know what she can and can't do as far as making military decisions or what not. She probably could make a good military decision, we really don't know. I know this much, she's a caring and giving person, she cars about the poor and kids need in education and that's what this country needs more right now. Oprah is very talented, so why would you think she would run a country the same why she run a show? She's smarter than that. You have to give her more credit than that.

I honestly don't even think she'd attain the status she has if she just helped blacks which is why she didn't & doesn't; she appeals to the majority & minority & that makes her a great person...

The foundation of her status is based upon the many housewives passing their time hugging the Telly. With that said, I like Oprah, even tho I am not a housewife. She's a rarity amongst celebraties because there aren't much negative publicty attached to her name.

That's nice; you're a rarity as well. From what I've seen/hear/watched/read, African Americans are generally the loudest in pointing out the racial gap at any level of government. If you don't believe this for a fact, all you have to do make a search using any kind of reputable source of news you'd prefer. Not just African Americans make this criticism, of course, but they are the most noticeable. Thus it is quite apparent that race DOES matter, whether or not you or anyone thinks should not. Denying that fact with ideals will only put more junk in our crowded and very cluttered closet, which can burst out, forcefully and violenty any day.

As for looking at Oprah or any other woman running for presidency: May the best man win.

I have better things to do with my time than to prove to someone the majority of who Oprah helps...sorry...you can look up the demographic information yourself if it matters so much to you; I just know blacks don't top that list & if you talk to some blacks yourself, because I can't prove that it's the majority either nor care to, they don't even like Oprah. I don't mind the woman, I sometimes watch her show (but they've been overplayed in Belgium that I get tired). I love how she attacks pedophiles, murderers, whonot. I appreciate your understanding of my feelings. Also Oprah is not presidential consideration of mine as well. My point was this in America we are told as children that we can be anything that we want to be and so can Oprah. Can she really win? No I doubt it but she has the freedom to run if she wanted too.
