It's not a problem, and I realize you said what you did before I addressed your post. However, when you made your post, I had already responded multiple times to the other things that had been posted today. Seeing all the mod bashing when I have spent most of my day pouring through every post in these topics today, trying to make sure that everyone was heard, acknowledged, and received a proper response from me - that was a bit of a slap in the face. Honestly, I've been a staff member for a very long time, and I am one of the people who usually does not receive negative OR positive feedback (I just pretty much get ignored). That's okay - I usually don't mind, and stuff people say around here usually doesn't get to me like this. I guess today was different - I mean, there are people around here that work pretty hard, and how can you possibly say that no one is doing their job properly when there are people who are genuinely attempting to solve problems?

Anyway, this is not a mod defense thread, and I realize that. I hope we are on the same page now about this - I have brought it up backstage and I hope the rule is pretty clear to all of us now. To reiterate if you haven't heard, from now on, decisions are final on the Design Staff level. If for any reason a Design Staffer feels like something needs to be rejected, they will bring it up with both the original reviewer and an upper staff member. If an upper staff member is not involved, no action will be taken. Also, we won't just go rejecting things at the drop of a hat - unless there is something seriously wrong with it, once it's been accepted, it's accepted.

blink.gif I seem to have started a war on here. Im really sorry.
Thankyou for answering my questions. I really respect everyone who works at createblog, and I didnt mean to cause an uproar because of my confusion.

QUOTE(Spencer @ May 27 2008, 06:37 AM) *
Or everyone could just shut the f**k up and not get so butthurt and make 12 million topics over this was accepted and now it's rejected. It's even more annoying to see this constant bitching.

DEAL WITH IT! It happens!

Spencer: Im not someone who goes of crying because something is rejected. I understand if its not up to standard, and I deal with it. I dont usually make a fuss, but as I really genuinely couldnt see the problem, and I was confused about all the changing of opinions about the submitted graphics, I thought I would post my concern.
I hope you understand me now, and can see that im not just some stupid kid making a fuss.

Plus.. Libertie had a look at them, and has accepted them because there wasnt a problem afterall.

To Natalia: Sorry, I didnt realise you were only a few weeks into being staff. Congratulations. _smile.gif
I have no grudge against you at all. :) I was just really confused as to why it was first a good icon, which then turned to being unacceptable. Of course, I didnt know you were fairly new at that point, and I respect your judgement. :)
As to the comments matter, I dont know where they have gone.. blink.gif But I know I had a comment from you on basically everything, because I remember thinking how nice you were. biggrin.gif

Anyhow.. peace. victory.gif

^I appreciate the thought as always, emberfly, but I have to ask if you managed to read any of the responses in this topic before making your comment. I apologize for sounding impatient, but please consider the fact that your comment doesn't add anything to the topic and gives no way for proof that you've read a single post but the first one. If you had read the topic, you would have seen explained many times that we are in the process of "teaching" our almost 100% new Design Staff team in the way of clearing out the queue properly. I would think that a move like this would be appreciated by the community; however, with some people I guess no one will ever be satisfied. Anyway, I am sad to say that (as with any "business" that hires new employees) we do ask for a small amount of patience from the community while we try to make sure they are getting the right information - it's difficult when said information comes from so many different sources, I know, but please at least try to understand that it's not as simple as some of you make it out to be.

rockable - Haha, you confused me! I remembered you having another username and you changed it on me this morning. xD You don't have to apologize for anything; I appreciate you raising a concern, and we by absolutely no means discourage people giving us negative feedback when we deserve it. I'm glad we got everything sorted out, though, and thanks for being so patient with us - your attitude in all of this, even in your slightly "upset" posts, has been really refreshing. :)

I read everyone single one _smile.gif

Even the staff members that have been on staff for quite a while do this. I'm not complaining.. I'm simply saying that the same thing that happened to Rockable happened to me and most of the people who submit to cb.

Like I said, feedback (negative or positive) is appreciated. However, being that I've posted a solution to this problem in multiple (okay, I think two) feedback threads, don't you think it would've been more constructive to respond to that rather than saying "yeah they do this all the time"?

Even if you said something as hateful as "Yeah we'll see if THAT actually happens" it would have been more helpful than "yeah it happens all the time even though one of the staff members said it won't happen anymore so what I'm saying holds no weight".

Anyway, I understand now that what you said perhaps wasn't meant in an entirely negative way. Sorry, I guess based on what you typed there it wasn't very clear and just came off as slightly snappy when I read it (I thought it was more meant as a jab, but based on your explanation, it might have been intended more as an "explanation" of some sort to the original poster?) - however, do you kind of maybe see where I'm coming from as well?

Haha, yes. I'll go ahead and move this to the resolved forum since your particular issue has been resolved. =]
