I just got my bill from Chevon, and it totaled to $652.49 for this entire month. It made me cry a little. :(

Its up to 4.21 here. Why can't I live in Hunington Beach... it's only 4.01 there. T_T

I LIVE IN HUNTINGTON BEACH AND gas is DEFINITELY not 4.01! unless you're talking about unleaded. then it's a little cheaper than that. 3.83 to 3.93 but premium is 4.23

It is at the Chevron by the post office my mom works at. I just filled it up for her on Saturday. o_o We don't use prem anymore though. Too expensive.

gah youre going to be seing people driving around on Mopeds soon. Wtf gas companies, you all are rich enough, give us a break.

And wtf are we going to do with all the batteries after they eventually die in the hybrids? They collect in a landfill. Defeats their purpose.

Who the f**k would still use premium?

Honestly, people who are willing to pay for premium gas shouldn't whine about the prices.

Also, what's this about people paying gas bills? Do you have a particular card you use?

Some cars can only handle premium gas, and if they use unleaded then it isn't good for their car I guess. Iono. There was this debate about it didn't really matter what gas you use, it's all the same really.

As for paying gas bills, I'm guessing they use their credit card to charge when they go to the gas station. I do that sometimes.

It just seems crazy. My dad, for example, recently bought some huge SUV and apparently feels that it's necessary to use at least medium grade gasoline. So when he bitches to me, I don't really sympathize at all, because it's entirely his choice to have bought a gas guzzling car and then put more expensive gas in it. Stop that shit, and help me afford my regular unleaded instead.

I always use my debit card, but I've never bothered at add up what I've spent at particular places when I get my statements. hm.

i don't see how that point even makes sense considering NON hybrid cars also have batteries, and their lead batteries happen to be more toxic than the nickel ones in hybrids today. they'll be a lot more toxic than the lithium, which is what hybrids are going to end up going to.

A lower octane would result in lowering the longevity of the engine life, and higher end models (i.e. sport cars) requiring premium might break down after having been filled up with "regular unleaded." Higher octane allows you to have the maximum efficiency out of your engine, ONLY if the engine requires a higher octane. I know the rx7 had a little hiccup with 89 or 87, instead of 91. BTW Hawaii has 92 octane gas. Man it was so expensive there, last summer. D:

BTW BLABLA I work 12 hours a week, but I make around $440/month as well. Damn you and your $12/hour! lol

gas prices are bad, no matter what you fill your car up with. prem, reg, diesel, what ever you fill it up with, it's high. i have a lexus and it requires for me to use premium only. i decided since it's 11 years old, i'll just use the cheapest one. and i have noticed that sometimes my engine isn't in the best shape.

gas is arguably and could be all the same, who knows. they could be scamming us, whatever. they're doing a good job and something needs to change about this out of control gas price.
