Thanks for the input guysss, but i have another question...Do you think i should talk to him about it? cause he actually did say he wanted to talk to me in person. Or do you think i should just leave it?

But leaving it always leaves things undone, and i hate that :/

So, here it goes. Sorry for it being so long

Boy casually asks me to prom, i accept. We don't talk for awhile, until the three days before prom, to get things organized.
Prom comes around, he picks me up, we go in the limo and here it starts.
He randomly puts his hand on my knee, like you would do with your boy/girlfriend. Every single picture we took, cute or humorous, he would ALWAYS have his hand around my waist/shoulders.
When it came time to slow dance? Our song was "dont wanna miss a thing" by aerosmith, a part came up where it said "i wanna hold you close" and HE pulls me in closer.
As the night progresses, he starts showing more affection, through dancing, holding my hand, whatever.
End of the night comes, in the limo...HE held my hand 3 times on his own free will.
HE walks me to my door, like a gentleman, we hug, and i kiss him, cause i felt a mutual connection, no? Well, he did kiss me back. and then we hugged again.

Two days later?

I ask him about after prom.
He tells me, "i just kissed you cause i think you're hot, and i dont like you like that"
He kept apologizing cause he realized i was hurt by this, obviously.
He also said he kissed me back cause he didnt wanna ruin my night...

but who leads someone on THAT much? My gosh...If he didn't do any of those things, i would have never kissed him! and i told him that! and he said, he just got caught up in the moment and didnt know what to do?

Does this make any sense whatsoever?

really, i think those are normal things to do while on a date: holding of hands, arms around waist/shoulders, dancing close, etc... you two probably just had awesome chemistry --it doesn't have to mean you like each other either for that kind of connection.

i don't think he intentionally lead you on, it just happened. as for the kiss, i could understand if he got confused as to what to do in the heat of the moment (he probably didn't know how to stop or pull away from the kiss), and at the same time, of course a guy would be willing to kiss a girl he thinks is hot. in that respect, yes, he is an idiot for not knowing how to handle the situation a lot better.

i think though that you've come out of this learning how a lot of guys act. i don't think it's so bad. you had fun, right? just remember the good parts of the night and ignore his presence.

And like, he said he wanted to talk to me in person about it sometime this past week, but it never happened, so i was gonna try today but things got messed up.

Eh, I'm sorry to hear that. Boys will be boys. Well, at least you got an apology from him. Its hard to tell if he was really "caught up in the moment" or not. I mean, kissing a hot girl, it is very hard to pull away from it. But at least you learned from it , hes a jerk though. I wasnt even expecting him to walk me to my door, and when he did i figured he was thinking of it, so i went for it, and i thought it was mutual cause he leaned in, but apparently not according to him haha.

well why didn't you talk to your date before days before prom? Like seriously, i'm sure he would have told you that that he didn't like you like that. I don't see why you're getting all mad about it, he probably didn't know when to tell you or when was the right time.

But you seemed to have a pretty decent night with him and he was nice date. The "leading" on seemed normal to me. Except i would probably be pissed if this happened at my prom. senior prom to be exact.

If you do give it more thought, maybe those things just happen on dates? Maybe you guys just got along really well, and one thing just led to another.
