(Sorry if this is in the wrong place...)

Hey I was thinking, if your a web designer one of your main tools is the internet and I was wondering how you would go about getting like REALLY FAST internet. If you wanted somethig faster than just going with att or verizon. How would you set that up?

Cause internet is so important to a web designer so it needs to be FAST! biggrin.gif

Well, what Tung means, is that you have different connections that your ISP can set up for you, ranging from just your local phone line to a T3 connection. But you probably can't afford a T3 connection >.< so the best you can do, is just get a DSL connection, it should work fine for you. I have no complaints with mine.

Cable > DSL

At least you have Verizon as an option. f**k Comcast.

Definitely the worst thing about moving to the south. =/

I had better results with cable than I did with DSL, but honestly, it didn't make that much of a difference to me in the long haul.

I don't think I know anyone with cable internet shrug.gif You'll probably have to call around and see what your options are for your area. I couldn't really get anything, because of my location. So right now I'm on some really ghetto DSL. Haha.

I used to have DSL but now I have Comcast & I subscribed to verizon's wireless internet service or whatever for 50 a month for my laptop; it all depends on what's available in your area & how much you're willing to pay & just let the company set it up for you
