well I had a domain but i didnt have DNS control over it so when I asked my first host to switch to hostii it worked but I sent hostii like a million emails but they wont respond, free hosting perferably I could add the domain later and cpanel if it isnt stretching it Im planning to buy a domain soon:]

it was actually through pink-pistol.net, it was like i sent here cash and she registered it so i have no clue where my domain stands,lol :]

no offense, but that's a stupid thing to do. You should've registered with a legit company like 1and1 or GoDaddy. That way, you have your own login and get control over your DNS, hosting, info, etc. Future reference.

If you need to register another name, I'd recommend 1and1. They're cheap and have always gotten back to me pretty quickly. I've heard bad things about their hosting, however. That's why I host with a different company.

Surpass is cheap and pretty decent if it's just a personal website you're setting up, but you still have to pay.

lol I know it was stupid but at that time i couldnt so anything else except that because they except cash through mail and I had no paypal or anything so yea. oo and I knew ferocious but their cpanel is to hard to use :]

anyway, thanks to those who contributed to this thread, i decided to go with http://www.cirtexhosting.com/ hopefully when I get enough money, im planning to switch over sometime in summer ,
thank you especially to heartquasm for the advice and grrdesign :]
