Okay.
Tyra is on crack because a bra will not prevent your boobs from sagging during your sleep. A bra does prevent your boobs from sagging during the day, because it's prevent your boobs from moving southwards where gravity wants to pull them...so you wear a bra to push them back up. But think about it...when you're lying on your back, your boobs will be flattened out, regardless of what kind of bra you're wearing. Actually, it might work to wear a push-up bra with tons of padding to push those bad girls up. But do you really want to wear that to sleep? Wearing a bra to sleep will not cause cancer. It will just cause discomfort, especially if you're wearing one with the intent of having perky boobs. I mean, there's some stuff I uncovered online about bras causing cancer, but it all sounds to me like a load of crap. I guess if you're actually worried, stay away from wearing a tight bra. |

i don't wear a bra to sleep. i remember my mom telling me when i was younger that you shouldn't sleep in a bra (or anything tight) so that the blood circulation in your body isn't being obstructed. i'm not too sure about the cancer thing. i doubt it, but you never know. i say just be comfortable...

Tyra also happened to be a supermodel. That is the very definition of hitting the genetic lottery. A bra in her sleep didn't create that.

I agree with gigi completely.
Tyra is crazy, don't listen to her ![]() QUOTE It's generally a good idea not to sleep with a bra on because it can interfere with good circulation and easy breathing.
If you're putting in overtime with your bra to preserve perkiness, that's a total myth. Bras don't preserve the shape or perkiness of breasts. Sagging results from a number of factors unrelated to bra wearing, such as

LOL, Tyra's boobs sag. She was playing with them when she was trying to prove that they are real. There's your proof that it doesn't work.
I would think it would be really uncomfortable. There are some days when I can't wait to get home and set them free. |

it is IMPOSSIBLE to get cancer from sleeping in a bra. there is no way for an item of clothing to cause you to make cancerous cells or to form a tumor. it just doesn't work that way. but it's possible if you sleep in underwire that cuts into your breasts for long periods of time [like every night for years] it can cause a mass. it's not cancer, just fat. but most people wouldn't do that due to the discomfort.
i sleep in a bra. i feel more uncomfortable not wearing a bra than sleeping in one. but that's just me. |

i don't sleep with a bra. because i like being comfortable when i'm sleeping. and my mom told me not to because its bad, so i don't.
unless i'm on those overnight trips and i have to share a room or a bed with a friend. i usually wear a sports bra to sleep, but my sports bra aren't tight so i'm still comfy. and i've never heard about the getting cancer when sleeping with a bra. thats just the most odd thing i've ever heard, lol. |

LOL cancer from sleeping in a bra. No. Cancer starts on the inside of your body, not the outside.

My mom told me about wearing a bra to sleep can cause cancer, too. She's a nurse, so I naturally believed her.
Although I still wear one to sleep, because I'm too tired at night to take it off. I'm a lazy soul. =s |

My mom also told me not to sleep in a bra last year because it doesn't benefit anything. So I sleep with out one and I've noticed my twins' growth has triggered some ._.
Honestly, I want to sleep with a bra again...but it's so uncomfortable... |

Wearing a bra to sleep does not cause cancer.
Sleeping without one is more comfortable. |

My boobs aren't that big so I'm not going worry about a sagging problem until I have kids or I'm in my late 30s.
Plus wearing a bra to bed isn't going to save your boobs from sagging. Just wear the right fit bra will and well if you're boobs are really huge like melons then your S.O.L. because they're going to go down hill fast any way. |
