Being close to becoming a senior in highschool and all, you can't blame me for thinking about moving out a lot . . . anyways, as the title says, when do you think one should move out of their parents house?

Whenever they have a well enough paying job to be able to support themselves and the knowledge of paying their bills, signing leases, and all that jazz.

I think when your ready to move out and you know you can live on your own. That you have a stable job and money flow and your good at managing the money you have as well.

Personally I'll be done with college when I turn 18 or shortly after, I'm finishing college and then moving out. Before I move out I will be finding interviews and going to them, the only really big deal is that I'll be moving to a different state more than likely. So having to manage that will be a bit of a deal, and I'll have to get married too, oh god. So much to type and think of at the same time.

I'm moving back in with the parents after college. Or maybe after grad school.

Who says you have to? Life revolves around family for me so I'll be with my parents, or my husband's parents or whichever family till the end of my life. Move out when you can live independently.

Yeah, like people have said, whenever you feel like you can be financially independent.

Although my 9th grade teacher thinks otherwise. She told us that we should live with our parents for as long as possible, to reap the benefits. Keep in mind that she's 30+, bordering on obese, has hairy arms and a stomach that protrudes past her boobs. And I'm pretty sure she's a virgin.

It's like everyone else is saying; you have to be able to support yourself emotionally and financially, because otherwise you'll just end up running to them when things go wrong, and that pretty much defeats the object...

I'm moving out come September, at least for a couple of years, to live close to school, but afterwards I'm guessing I'll go back and live at home until I can get a stable job... Scary thought.

The best time to move out is your freshman year of college and into the dorms.
