The name is Kayla and I'll keep it short:

I like blueberry pancakes on sunday mornings, the way the world looks at 7:00 A.M., old, decrepit things that most people have long forgotten, music floating in a room, sitting in a rocking chair on the front porch on a rainy day, and approximate rhymes. I'm not particularly funny or charismatic or even interesting, but I might be able to make you think (or at least I claim to), and maybe if you're nice enough I'll make you some chocolate chip cookies without the chocolate chips in them ('cause that's the best way to eat them). I'm chock full of useless trivia (Abraham Lincoln was watching the British comedy Our American Cousin when he was assassinated in Ford's Theatre, Earth's average rotation around the sun is actually 365.2-ish) and if I punched a boy in the face, I'd want him to hit me right back. I love cheesy jokes (Why did Beethoven get rid of his chickens? 'Cause they kept going 'Bach, Bach, Bach!') and I hate it when introductions consist of a short "zomg heyz i'm *insert name here* and im seventeen and i like boyz and moviez and desecrating the english language."

Hey, welcome to CreateBlog. I'm Cristy. Your intro reminds me of one that I've read here in the past. Did you have another CreateBlog account before? Ah, those English desecrators. Let's uphold proper English grammar, shall we? Haha. PM me if you need any help navigating the forums. Have a good time here.

I can't even remember what my old username was.

It doesn't really matter, though; I never posted much.

Thanks for the welcomes, guys. : D

Welcome! I'm Ruth. Hopefully you'll turn out to join the forces of the witty intellectuals here. We sure could use some more of them :)

And to add on to useless trivia, the amount of copper in a penny is actually worth 1.4 cents.

Hey, Kayla, it's Nicki if you remember me from EdV and whatnot. Is it bad that I guessed this was you from one post? I don't mean to be creepy, but you tend to be an interesting person. Welcome back :)

Ha, Nicki, you really recognized that it was me? I was wondering if you would or not. And I remember you perfectly, haha. I don't forget people easily.

And brooklyn, you like The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock? I think it's such a beautiful poem.

Yeah, I did.

I think your name was... like, the same? Shit, maybe.

In either case, welcome (back) to CreateBlog. It's always nice to see a competent entity here.

I'm Nate, by the way. If you have any concerns, questions, contact me or a fellow staff member. We're helpful.

Haha, yeah, I had a feeling. I remember people pretty well too, but you never know about others.

I almost wrote a paper on "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock" this year, but went with "To His Coy Mistress" instead. More room for dirtiness.
