^It would if you did it in the right time period. If you tried to do it when you're 20, chances are you won't do much. If you're still at the beginning of puberty and young, exercise can be the difference between being 5'1" or 5'3". Stretching can help elongate your spine, adding only a couple of inches. Other exercises can help strengthen your bones or elongate your muscles. It's not guaranteed to work for everyone but it's been shown that if kids exercise during the onset of puberty, it helps with development.

That's because exercising increases endocrine factors, such as GH secretion (and even then, the amount that actually contributes is specious), not because of lumbar flexion. If spinal decompression had permanent effects, it wouldn't even be a recurring practice to begin with.
Synthetic bone density has nothing to do with that, and exercising does not lengthen your muscles. It shortens them. Your muscles contract as a defense mechanism against stress, which is why you feel stiff after activities like weightlifting. |

i dont think there is anything you can do to get taller. if you drink coffee, stop, b/cot stunts your growth.
but lemme tell ya, being tall isn't that great. i've been 6'1 since i was like ten (im 14 now, in case you care lol) and it isn't that amazing. i'd rather be a few inches shorter |

I don't think many things make you grow taller, or stunt your height growth. You could always go to the doctors and have them break your legs and reset them. Or go get your hands on some growth hormone. Orrrr you could just work on accepting yourself the way you are. I'm 5'6 and I honestly wouldn't want to be any taller. I only have on other girl friend that is shorter than me, but I've learned to be okay with it. I'd rather be short than 6' or taller and have all eyes on me when I walk through the door.
