has anyone ever read "The Joy Luck Club" by Amy Tan? the story's a bit confusing in the beginning, but once you've cleared up who's who... it's an absolute wonderful book.

QUOTE(Alk3 @ Feb 12 2004, 12:25 AM) I've started reading Please Don't Kill The Freshman by Zoe Trope at Barnes & Noble, but the damn thing costs $15.. I'm not going to pay that much for a book I'm probably only going to read once I have that book, its an interestng book.. really interesting. Books I've read: •The Harry Potter series •The Golden Compass •The Chinese Cinderella •Flipped •Chicken Soup for the [insert here] soul and many more. What can I say? I love to read.. especially when I didn't have any form of entertainment back then.. like no TV or Computer.. *sigh* |
