Hey guys, I don't really know where I should be putting this..but I am gonna ask for your help.
A while back a friend and I were going to put together a bullying presentation to add into our school's CAPP (Career and Personal Planning) class regimine. That didn't pann out so well, as other responsiblities having to do directly with our own schooling got in the way. I am now in the process of trying to put together something for the class again but this time I don't want to define it. I want some help with that part. When you were a teenager, or as a teenager now...if you were to have people stand up and tell you what's what and try and change your mind about something... What would you want to hear? Or what do you think needs to be said to teens today? As a teen myself, I have my thoughts. But I'm only one girl...I want as many voices as I can get. Thanks in advance. -rememberTHEforgotten- |

Why was this moved to relationships...this doesn't have anything to do with relationships. This is teenagers, and motivational presentations, and writing...not relationships.

Wrong forum, Tung.
Moved to ACADEMIA > SCHOOL Since it's for school. |

When you were a teenager, or as a teenager now...if you were to have people stand up and tell you what's what and try and change your mind about something... What would you want to hear? Or what do you think needs to be said to teens today? What needs to be said to teens is that they can speak their minds, as long as they take into consideration the people who will hear it. Like, saying something considered "racist" would offend someone, even if you're trying to voice your own opinions. In regards to bullying, teenagers need to be told that they can definitely talk to an adult about it. Sometimes you can't fight back without getting in trouble, or the person bullying you doesn't let your voice be heard. I mean, when I was younger, it was hard for me to talk to adults about some of the drama I went through in high school because I didn't think adults cared or that they knew what I was going through. But eventually I talked to some people that I knew that have their life together, and they understood what I mean. Sorry if this has nothing to do with your project though haha. |

No, thats great. You're saying "speak up" which is something teens have a hard time doing. They can spout off all kinds of crap...but when it comes to saying something that means something to them or means that they are vulnerable...a lot teens have issues.
Thanks. |

As cliche as it is, violence is not the answer. So, you pummel a guy's face in but is that really necessary?
