I believe this belongs in the lounge.. lol Well anyhow, have you guys every tried Meiji's Kinoko no Yama? They are Japanese chocolate mushroom shaped prtzels. I've only had 3 boxes of them in my lifetime so far. I've been obsessed with them since the 8th grade (yea, it's been 2 years) and I've been countlessly searching for these chocolates everytime I go to any Asian food market. Sadly, I've failed. I found it once in L.A. but I can't find it any more. And the other 2 boxes, I got my friend to buy for me. But I don't like to ask her alot. Does anyone know where else you can get them, besides online? Usually, if you buy them online, they charge more than they're worth lol. Here's a picture:

IDK Most, if not all, the Asian people I know call it 99 ranch, but I think some of Tony's white friends call it Ranch 99. Doesn't matter. I got the takenoko last time and I thought they tasted crappy, imo. I mean, it's not even a pretzel for that one I want the pretz with it, so I prefer the kinoko no yama (mountain of mushrooms) instead. =X The cookie part is definitely different. But they're really cute though! And OMG Cristy, they only offer it during white day? Damn, I don't even know if it'll be imported over here and offered during white day! My friend bought it for me, but she's Japanese and she might've gone somewhere out of San Diego to get it, IDK! But they're soo good =X |
