Me either. I was always pretty disgusted with people who did. Errrrr. Which is why this show is such a guilty pleasure for me. I may read the books over the summer, just out of curiosity. I just, like, won't tell anyone.

haha, that's what my friend and I did.

We watched a few episodes, just cuz half of the girls on my floor love it, and even though we both agree it's a shitty show, we can't help but be sort of, maybe, a little bit addicted. So we went to Barnes and Nobles, hid in the kid's sections, and read almost all of the books in one sitting.

I actually don't like the books. There's only so much of "Serena's the most beautiful girl in the world!" comments that you can take. After a while it gets pretty old. And since people are constantly smoking or doing drugs, you get pretty sick of the words "baked" or "stoned." The books are pretty entertaining, but they really weren't...my thing. It IS completely different from the show, though. They might as well change the names of all the characters.

i think ed westwick (chuck bass?) is the gay one cause i saw this picture of how people were connected and it pointed an arrow to him and chace crawford and on top of the arrow it says "kissed"

so maybe chuck is the gay one. hey i wouldnt mind. i just hope its one of the three main guys, and not serena's little brother.

I think the Nate/Vanessa thing was so random. I know he's supposed to be all poetic in the books, but he hasn't been portrayed as *all that* down to earth in the show at all until randomly just now, IMO.
