I was just curious... is there any bleeding that can occur from your vag that ISN'T from your period?

I've been going pee like crazy today, and it has this slight burn (I'm not sure how to explain it other than that). The pee is clear, no yellow tint whatsoever, and when I wipe myself, there are little pink spots/lines of blood (or I'm assuming its blood) on the tissue paper. I'm assuming this is... not normal... but I've only come to the conclusion of one thing -- early signs of getting my period. Does anyone have further info regarding this? I'm kind of paranoid right now, especially with no ride to the doctor's office.

how long have you had this burning sensation while urinating?

are you drinking lots of water?

are you sexual active?

how long have you had a period?

these questions could really help you into finding out the cause. painful urination could also be a urinary tract infection (UTI). the color of your pee being very light could be from drinking a lot of water which is good for you. being sexually active can be a cause for the painful urination because it could be a possible STD, or some type of infection.

once you know the answer to those questions, it may help you into finding out what it really is and will help the doctor to find out what's wrong.

I was just reading up on UTI's after Melie posted. :) Which I think is the case -- that, or an infection. However, in the link you posted, it said

QUOTE
Most people who have a urinary tract infection have symptoms, such as a need to urinate often and urine that looks cloudy or bloody in the toilet.

My urine isn't cloudy, or bloody. It actually blends in with the water in the toilet bowl. The only time I can see the blood is when I use tissue -- there are small, little splotches of pink blood. Usually, for me, at least, my period blood is red. Not pink. =x

this happened to my friend before and she FLIPPED out. i felt so bad for her because we didn't know anything about this. well basically, it usually happens when you haven't had sex in a long time and then you did, she told me she was "dry" and your body wasn't secreting enough liquids.

its not from your vagina, its from your uterus. it is blood and there should be burning, its because its too dry. drink lots and lots of water. you should definitely go see a doctor, in case there is an infection or std. if you're under 18 and you don't want your parents knowing that you're having sex, there's teen centers that can help you and they don't charge you a lot.

my friend went to one and i think they gave her some antibiotics. they charged her like $35 - $50. i'm not sure how long it lasts but before my friend went to the teen center with her boyfriend, she kept putting petroleum jelly in that area [around clitoris] so it won't hurt as much, so try that.

Your symptoms sounded very much like a UTI.

I had one and you have all my starting symptoms. Like with every diagnosis, you don't have to have all the symptoms. My urine was fine until later when the infection moved up to my kidneys. I was hospitalized for a few days and almost needed surgery.

Go to the doctor ASAP. The check for a UTI doesn't take much.
