ok....forgive me if i explain myself wrong

I have a large picture i wanna use for a background. i use a free photobucket account, but it will not allow me to upload the pictue in its actual size.
i've heard of slicing images and i was wondering how to do it, and if its possible to use the picture in its full size by slicing it.

????
thanx in advance

photobucket has a limit size of 1MB. you can adjust the size of it by going to my album, and then at the top of where you submit your image, you should see the max image size.

click on the options link next to it and you should be able to adjust it to the size you need.

also, if your image is still too big, you can use imageready which is with the photoshop cs2.

hope that helps!

Actually i think you need to upgrade to the Pro account
to select any image size larger than 1024x768

i've been able to submit images bigger than that. it goes by the size of the file, not the image.

you can use imageshack to host pictures. It can hold any size images (except for some).

ok...i've gone to my account in Photobucket and gone to "Change Max Image Size" and it says if i want any image larger than 1280x960, I have to upgrade to the Pro Account.

and i created an Imageshack account but everytime i upload the image (which is 1024x2000) it resizes the image so that it fits with in 1024x768

so confused huh.gif
