So, who's watching it?

I know I am. I'll be watching it this saturday or sunday.

Jet Li is in it (My favorite asian fighting dude, lol)
Jackie Chan (He is too, and funny)

I'm always interesting in fighting movies. Especially the Asian Fighting ones, because it's crazy how they do it. o.O Pretty damn athletic.

yah i've been anticipating it.

i mean, it looks corny, and it's kinda awkward that the lead character is that kid from sky high ;x, but hell it's the only time i'll see jet li and jackie chan in the same movie ;O

^ LOL yeah. He's from Sky High and Will & Grace. lol. It would be weird, but he's the "Traveler".

I'm really interested in Jackie Chan's role, I believe he is a Drunken monk. lol. Not sure if it's monk but it's drunken something. lol.

So true that this is probably the only time they finally made a movie together. Two of my favorite fighting actors.

When this movie was first announced I heard it was like the "Journey to the west story" so I was totally stoked. But it's not really and so it lessened the hype a bit for me.

Though i'm super happy that Jet and Jackie get to work together in the same movie but the fact that it's in english kind of bothers me :/

I hope it doesn't become a corny movie, there are some high standards it has to meet..

Only thing now is to choose to watch this first or Forgetting Sarah Marshall. haha

It's sad that Jet Li and Jackie Chan only get secondary roles, though this should be fun to watch.

I've always wanted to see a movie with Jet Li and Jackie Chan together, but I wish they could've made the movie look more impressive. The production and story sound half-hearted.

I never really liked Jackie Chan except in the medallion[sp?] and the only asian fighting movie i've really liked was Kung-Fu Hustle.
But i think this is going to be really good or really bad.

I saw the movie yesterday. It was really good and interesting. Jackie Chan and Jet Li fighting scene was great. I was pretty much impressed and how they are both still athletic when they are like 50+ years old. Hah. I liked the movie.

There are some funny parts in this movie, it made the whole audience laugh, literally. There is this one part in the desert between Jackie Chan and Jet Li, the whole audience was like laughing like crazy for 2 whole minutes or more. LOl. I thought it was hilarious.

While I watching this movie, I did not expect that the plot was like "The Journey to the West" (For those who are Asians, you probably know it). THE MONKEY KING! I was like oh crap because of the The Monkey King. When I was little, my favorite Asian episode show/movie was "The Journey to the West" and the Monkey King kicked ass. He's a good fighter and he is quite funny.

For those of you who don't know "The Journey to the West", I suggest to wiki it? My friend didn't get some parts of the movie while I did and he didn't know the main plot of "The Journey to the West".

THAT DESERT SCENE WAS LOL.

And the Journey to the West story didn't really come into play except the fact that the monkey king was in it, and they told a little about it. The main story in this movie was how the golden stick got returned to the monkey king. The series I saw of JttW was a lot different.

AND I kept laughing at the most innappropriate times because I couldn't stand how Jet Li was acting all weird. I always think hes the cool badass that is silent. But in this movie, its just.. outrageous sometimes.. omg. "NO YOU FOOL!"

This movie.. was a flop for me, the cornyness and bad acting was just bleh. The kungfu was really cool for jackie and jet but not so much everyone else.

Ugh i wish those two would have picked a better movie to star in together. f**king america.

Oh yeah, though sparrow was pretty cute, she was kind of annoying. Especially at the end when she stopped the "epic fight"

this movie was very like the same as like karate kid and the wizard of oz.

it had typical movie story lines. there were a lot of funny parts but other than that the movie was good. but not great either.

i actually like the movie!!! i like how jet li was like the piece of hair and returned to the monkey and how jackie was the old guy lol. for some reason i think the sarah marshall movie was kinda better though. anyways, it's pretty good though for a jackie and jet movie. i loved the fighting part, like the first tym they both met each other, it was soo kool wen they both fought each other coz they were usin their own fightin techniqe and style.

i loved the desert scene, especially the part when he's "calling" for water. lmao lmao lmao.

and i couldn't stop laughing when jet said that. he was so weird in this movie, i couldn't stop laughing at him. lol. it was because of him being bad-ass usually. AND i noticed he has a funny and crazy smile, but its a big one, lol. it was one of those contagious smiles, i think.

sparrow kept talking in 3rd person, which kind of umm annoyed me a bit. lol. my brother was like, "...why is she speaking like that?"
