Need effects. .., can I download? Options

I have PaintShop Pro 8

and I was wonderin' if I could download more effects, or something of that nature.
For example the light flare used below;


Or is that a brush?

Or like the light path effect below'

they are either textures, brushes or the pen tool, Im not to familiar with PSP 8 but i dont think theres any downloading needed unless u want textures :]

Um if it isn't too much for anybody; Anyone know how to regenerate the effectas they used.

Like if they used the pen tool; how did they do it?

i dont use PSP 8 but I hope this helps, for the first picture, they probably used a 300 soft pixel brush and lightened the layer and put the girl in front

for the glow sticks one they probably used the free transform pen tool and they stroked it with a 35px brush? maybe? and they probably displaced it using a psd.

I'm pretty sure the first and second image are brushes, although the same shapes can be easily achieved with the pen tool. And I believe they added a glow to those layers.

The same applies for the last image. I believe its the same brush at a different size and color w. a glow.
