If there's an event coming up soon and you really don't want your period to come is there anything that can prevent it?
I'm supposed to get my period really soon but im throwing this party in 4 days and i just want to hold it ti'll after the party. Is there anything i can do?

You can't prevent something that happens naturally with the body, so no. I'm sure that it's impossible to cause your period not to come. And if you thought your period was going to come real soon, then why throw a party at the same time? mellow.gif The only thing that you can really do is just postpone your party.

If you're on the pill you can skip over the placebos and go right for another round (sounds like I'm talking drinks, hah). But if you're not on the pill there's no [healthy] way. Sorry.

Nope, it's not. The only way you could do that is if you had been on birth control way before now.

I wish there was a way, but sadly, there isn't. There have been tons of times when my boyfriend has come over, and I wished I could have put my period "off" for a few days or two. But it always comes when you don't want it to. :[

so...what does having your period have to do with throwing a party? Are you unable to party when you have your period?
