"They may also be deemed too young to have had criminal intent"

Considering how these kids are at such an early age, who knows how they'll be when they're older? And now since they're kids nothing can really happen to them except being sent to juvi for a few years... Then they'll go all crazy when they're older then it'll be too late.

I personally was never that stupid as a child, to actually believe and follow video games or whatever.

What do you all think of this?

QUOTE
Police say the plot at Center Elementary School began because the children, ages 8 to 10, were apparently angry after the teacher disciplined one of the students for standing on a chair.
As expected, a childish reason to overreact.

They're kids. Do they really know any better?

^ Well, if you lump an entire generation into one entitiy, you tend to get a bit of rot, yeah.

Lol. This was so obviously going to be in Georgia.

It just scares the shit out of me... I want to have kids but I don't want them being influenced by their friends. And I don't want to take away their friends, that's just ridiculous.

Back in my days... I wasn't even plotting to kill anything, hell not even my G.I. Joes died... shoot not even the cartoons I watched displayed blood o.O

Pshh overreactions! They had a crystal paperweight packed with them. Obviously it was a gift for the teacher. Criminal intent? I think the paperweight speaks for itself. :)

Well, I'm not planning to kill anything either, nor are my younger brother or even younger cousins. Have some faith, their friends might be delightful.

i blame the parents. its the parent's fault, children have lost their sense of respect. my little 5 year cousin called my grandma a b***h, and his dad did'nt punish him! wth. of course these children will continue to push boundaries.

I honestly think they wouldn't have gone through with it. Kids are impressionable, so I think there's more to it than they idea just appearred in their minds to kill their teacher.

My friend mentioned this to me on Friday.

I was like what the heck. That is so dumb. They said they will carry the teacher and such. There fricken 3rd graders, like 7 or 8? How can they carry the teacher. And the reason why he wanted to do it cuz he was standing at the desk or something and teacher told him to get off. =X (Based on my friend telling me the story)

Jeeze... They should be expelled or something.

Holy shit.
Besides to getting mad that the teacher yelled at one of them for standing on a chair there had to be more to the story then that.

I dont feel kids would like to just kill a teacher just for that. She must have done something else that we dont know about.

Thus being the reason why I really don't want to have a family in the U.S. If I did... I'd probably move to Montana lol away from civlization.

Also I read more into the story, the plot was just ridiculous. One kid was supposed to cover the windows, another was suppose to do the clean up, another was suppose to check the doors so that no one comes in... lol unbelievable.

The locals are pretty cool... well as long as you don't step anywhere close to their property o.O but society there is completely different than NY, FL, and CA (lived in all three states).

i would say the best islands in hawaii would be the big island and oahu. i think marijuana is legal in maui. imagine if that island burns. hawaii gonna get high!!!! lmao.

i do think it's the parents' fault but then some parents i admit r ok or somethin, the problem can be the environment. ive never been to the states so i really dunno the environments. i only kno wat i see on tv or wat ppl tell me bout how they lived there and stuff.

Yes. They at least knew that planning to kill someone was not a good idea...they knew it was wrong, that's why they wanted to do it. Whatever happened to sticking gum or glue in a teacher's chair? Wasn't this cruel enough? When did children start planning to kill adults?

I guess society teaches us that when someone does something we don't like or when someone doesn't let us have our own way we have to get rid of them by killing them.

I can't believe they actually brought all those weapons. When I was their age I mean, I wanted to yell at my teachers sometimes but never kill them. blink.gif The world is a sad place. So, nothing happened to the 3rd graders after that? They were let off the hook?
