Indeed. I think timmy is a better teamate than kobe, but kobe definitely brings more to the table in scoring and what not. They both have qualities that you can't teach.

true that. i would'nt say dominate big man. just a good solid center. i mean the bulls in the 90's didnt had a dominate big man lol, but still won 6 championships. detroit didn't had a dominate big men. ben wallace is just 6'9 lol, and even smaller than lebron james haha.

rasheed is a big man, but I don't consider him a dominate big man, just cuz he plays so much in the perimeter, like dirk. but yeah, teams mostly need big man to win championships, that's why lakers winning it this year yall with the twin towers of bynum and gasol na mean. warriors are one and done and gone fishing LOL. loool.gif

Every championship team after the jordan run has had at least one dominant big man. Hell, the spurs had two the first time around.

Whenever Denver learns how to play defense, they will be good. There was no reason for the sonics to keep up with them the way they did.

okay, don't get me wrong, i LOVE the nuggets...but their defense is SO bad. they just can't hold on to leads and i don't think they'll move past the first round (if they even make it to the playoffs) sad.gif

edit//damn you fast posters, lol.

The Celtics remind me of Phoenix the past 2 or 3 years. Everybody was hyping them during the regular season, and they always choked to the team that had the championship pedigree. The Celtics will cave to Detroit this year.

naw the celtics this year reminds me of the 2004 Lakers, with Malone, payton, kobe, and shaq. a lot of all stars, and a hell of a damn regular season, but then lost because of injuries (karl malone). if one of the big three goes down, celtics might lose. i think lebron could mad handle a team like detroit or boston though by himself. and can't rule out the magic. they played the celtics pretty well in teh regular season. hedo has been playing crazy good this year.

Hedo got robbed of an all star spot. True even though I am not a fan of his, Lebron is a beast. I will give the Celtics credit in getting Sam, because Chauncey would have torched rondo in the playoffs.

Detroit reminds me of the spurs, because nobody pays attention to them until it is time to come down the stretch and into the playoffs, and then they just beast. Detroit in 5
