So today, I went shopping pretty much for like 4-5 hours. Newpark Mall, and Great Mall, for all the bay area people. Anyways, today I hit a record. Seven people asked me "can i try the fitting room" , "do you have a size 29 in this" "excuse me can you ring this for me" "hi do you work here" etc. This was all from different stores. Pacsun, Zuminez, Hollister, Abercrombie, Guess, and Hot Topic. This always happen to me, whenever I go shopping. But today was a record setting 7 people. It's usually only a 1-2 people. So I ask you, have you guys ever have a similar experience like this? And do you think it's annoying, or flattering? Or just plain out weird!!

Uh... assuming you went to fancy malls.... I would have to also assume you were wearin a suit? lol

Were they really fancy-type people? blink.gif

If they were, I might have gotten offended, they probably thought you were a lower/sub form mellow.gif

What the hell are you talking about lol? There just regular people like you and me. I go about my business shopping around these stores, and people just randomly come up to me if I work here and shit.

Has nothing to do with class lol. I guess the way I dress, makes them think I work at these stores. Because I dress a certain scene urban way that most workers at the stores usually dress I guess.

LMAO. Tommy Hilfiger? Wow, I hate that brand so much. Adults don't stare at me much. Mostly highschool girls check me out at the mall LOL.

It has happened here or there, especially if I am wearing the brand being sold at the store...i.e. polo.

It's happened yeah, but not often.

I hate at work when people seem so confused if people work there. Its pretty obvious since at my work you have to wear black pants or a skirt, and a black blazer/jacket. I mean c'mon.

The only similar encounter I've had like this are when old mexican ladies or men come up to me asking me something in spanish, and thinking that I actually know how to respond to them. (I look mexican, but I'm not really .-.) I've always thought of it as annoying, especially since I've only recently learned how to say, "No habla espanol"
