I saw on the news about truckers going on strike because of really high diesel prices.

I wonder how much of an impact a boycott of fuel by a few independent truckers is actually going to have on anything with the exception of the obvious impact it will have on the truckers who are participating.

I kind of have mixed feelings about it because everyone relies on these guys.

Everybody is going on strike these days. My grandmother has been on strike from Aramark (I think?) for the past month. We're already going into a resession...what can we do?

It sucks cuz some trucking companies make their employees pay for their fuel.... instead of the company payin for the fuel. We can't afford to lose our truckers... our economy is in NO shape for stopping the porting of our resources across the nation right now.
