Maybe it's just because this year's almost over and I'm looking forward to my rooming situation next year, but everything my roommate does is starting to piss me off.

1) She's always asking me to make her coffee or tea or whatever. Now, I don't mind occasionally making an extra cup if I'm already making myself something, but all those free cups of coffee add up! I'm not super rich like she is and I pay for everything myself, and when she asks for coffee a few times every week for an entire year... it just really pisses me off.

2) She's always using my shit. She uses my water boiler, my stapler, my side of the room, she takes things out of my desk drawer when I'm not around and she needs something, she steals my batteries... guasdf;kldfadsf.

3) She's a stupid sleeper. For real. I understand there are light sleepers, but when the only light on in the room is my computer and she tells me to study in the lounge or the hall because she can't sleep? My desk lamp isn't even on!

4) She complains when people call me in the morning, so I usually take my phone calls outside so I wont wake her up - I don't get why she can't extend the same courtesy. I've asked her many times to talk on her phone outside or at least whisper when it's like ... 8am and she never does. Yet she expects me to.

5) If I'm making too much sound in the morning (pouring cereal, boiling water, finishing up homework), she'll wake up and complain about it, telling me that she didn't get to go to sleep until really late last night. Who's f**king fault is that? It's not my fault that she decided that romping around with her ugly boyfriend was more important than sleeping. It's not like I have music playing or I'm talking to someone while she's sleeping. I'm not going to sit on my bed and not make a move until she wakes up, especially if it's practically noon.

6) She plays the same stupid music over and over and over again.

Blah.

I'm just waiting for the end of the year to come.

OMG I remember the feeling...I roomed with an RA my freshman yr for 1 semester then I hurried up & moved with my play sis to the dorms next to my old one; moving was a hassle, but I was sick of her super anemic @ss causing me to wake up in sweat b/c she had heat on high in the summer time, I also have a very fine texture of hair & I was in South GA & my hair would frizz up even when I wrapped it because of her; I hated 1st semester & I stayed gone; she'd get mad b/c I never was there to get her calls, or when I had to use my laptop I had to use dial-up or whatever; she just irked me...I was super happy sophomore year because we got to move into suites with separate rooms that we could lock, everyone had wireless internet or had an ethernet outlet and I was rooming with my 4 friends...I hope when I move to my new school, my apt. situation works out

I'm so glad guys get a long better than females lol... In a sense it doesn't seem so bad but I guess it is annoying.

Who's the one that pays more on the rent(normally who ever has the master bedroom, pays more)? If it's you, tell the girl to stfu already.

^i think it's a dorm; therefore, it's equal?/not sure.

you can either ignore her for the rest of the semester, or tell her like it is. you can even do it a little at a time-- whenever she complains to you about something you do, snap back immediately if you know you're right. those little comments add up, and she'll begin to realize that she's f**king annoying and even wrong.

if she still doesn't get it, you could always start an all out bitch session ;X haha.

Oh well then if it's a dorm... tell her to shut the f**k up already. I thought it was a friend and her in a personal apartment, would suck to make your roommate leave when you can only afford your part of the rent.

So yeah if its a dorm, tell her to shut her f**kin mouth and deal with it. Then move the hell out into another dorm.

My roommate is my best friend from like kindergarten. I don't really run into problems with her but when we do, we usually argue, then pick up and move on.

Definitely, speak up and tell her to stfu.

Tama, the guys on my floor still have problems with their roommates. Except, I guess they have less of a problem speaking up. Which doesn't surprise me. Most of the time, the complaint is that the other person smells.

Yeah, it's a dorm, so I didn't really get to pick who I roomed with. But I do get to pick for next year, which is why I'm excited!

I mean, like, I've already told her to stop taking my stuff, but I really have no control over what she does when I'm not in my room.

Hm... right after highschool... I mainly did the roommate thing and I never had to complain about anything other than loud music at late nights during school week or durin the work week.

I thought guys got a long better than females did? blink.gif

My roommate is my best friend, but damn girl is craaaazy. She's got some emotional issues but like every time we drink, she starts some DRAMA with her perfect boyfriend. Sigh, she also told her parents we were going to move off campus and they approved and then after we signed a lease, her parents refused to pay the security desposit! So I am f**ked. ROAR.

^ oh ouch, dude.

So I was sitting in my room, doing work with music on. She comes in during the near end of the song and sits on the bed near her ipod/ihome thing. The second my song ends, she turns her music on above mine. And f**k, man. There's no way I'm studying to MIA again.

I would talk to her about it, but at this point, I'm just going with the motto that the less I interact with her, the better.
