Yup, I like his song "Vulnerable." I didn't know that Secondhand Serenade was a one-man act instead of a full band until last week, haha.

YAY FINALLY A SECONDHAND SERENADE THREADDDD.
John Vesely= love. end of story.
i have both albums. i love both equally, although the new one is the most amazing thing i've ever heard. A Twist in My Story, Why, and Last Song Ever are the best.

^oh wow. you would not beleive how amazing his new album is. like...really. laugh.gif
he plays with a full orchestra. it's really really noticable in some songs, and not so much in others. but really, he keeps his "sound" while involving more modern things.

whiney? i don't find them whiney at all. there's worse stuff out there. shrug.gif
on the new album, a couple of the songs he gets really breathy...i'll listen and edit later with the titles. it gets to me every time. stubborn.gif

I love how he refers back to his older lyrics in his other newer songs...or was it just that one song?

yes! love the acoustics!!! i can't put my finger on it, but it's very unique. my favorite is probably It's Not Over. he tends to sing about break-ups and such (like 3/4 songs i have!) but it works well cause the music's usually pretty mellow. great to fall asleep to or perhaps after a bad breakup. it'd prob make you cry.
