Hey everyone. I've been making layouts for a while now and I need some feedback on this particular layout.

layout

I submitted it once to here and got feedback on it so I made some major changes and here is what I have right now. Any feedback is welcome. Sarcasm is optional.

Note: the banner was made by me using Paint Shop Pro 9

For one:

The header image and the colors look horrible up against the gray. Use some different colors beside gray and white >_>

Eh maybe I love color to much >_>

I don't like the gray, it used way to often. The red text is to red, try getting a softer red from her shirt in the header image.

Also the tables should equal to the same width as the header image.

This is what I was told about the background and image:

"The color scheme is off. Use a light gray for the background instead so that it's easier on the eyes. After all, grays and navy blues are the dominant colors in your image."

That was before the changes I made

I went ahead and changed the red to a softer one.

Actually yeah a lot of people do. It's a wide range of ages as well. I've ran across 40 year old people on xanga as well as 13 year old kids.

I'd say it was some pretty good blending,

but if I were to completely pick it apart,

I'd say the grey of the header image and the grey of the bg don't match, the header seems a bit too long, the white of the text areas is a random choice, your left column of boxes aren't aligned with the left of the header image whereas the right is, the text on the header could've been better, the padding above your left and right column are different, the credit text is too prominent, and the scrollbar for the link box is unnecessary. Just make the box long enough to fit all the links since you're not necessarily going to add anymore.

I changed the credit part of the banner and then also changed the font style to a different font not to mention shortened it by about 15px. I fixed the width as well. If the padding looks weird, let me know. I gave it a new background as well.

make the left tables a bit bigger so they're the same width as the header.

Colors look a lot better thumbsup.gif

I think I fixed it. Should be compatible with both IE and firefox. If it looks weird in either let me know.
