I have to play at a lower team because my partner is in a lower team even though my coach said we all are at the same level! f**k, this is dumb. We were #2, too. sad.gif Now we're #1 in a lower team and we don't get any damn subs, which means we're gonna have to be playing over 3 games this week. BLAAAAH

People here annoy the hell out of me. Here I am, trying to study (which is obviously a lie, but whatever), and all these girls around me keep reacting to their friends like they haven't seen them in years. "OH MY GOD HI HOW LOOK SO CUTE HOW ARE YOU LET'S HUG AND MAKE A SCENE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Every damn class change. Not to mention, do we really have to have these little reunions right in front of where I'm trying to walk most of the time? ps your orange tans aren't attractive at all.

The concert I thought was Thursday is actually Saturday, which irks me a lot because I still have to go home for Easter.

f**king sports bar is buying out Hot Corner sad.gif Now where the hell am I going to go for coffee and board games in the middle of the night? cry.gif Goddamn, if they can't even preserve the one part of the "Classic City" that's tolerable on weekends for those of us who are into a more alternative culture than the rest of UGA's population, there is no way I'm going to be able to handle four years here without transferring.

I just got the paper for summer school, and I don't have the prerequisite for Geometry. This sucks.. I could've been in Algebra II already but I'm gonna be stuck with Geo sophomore year. sad.gif

Thomas, that's nice, but you realize every school is different?

I took some sophomore math class my senior year just because I didn't care.

I didn't like geometry much. Algebra is my favorite. Calculus was bleh.

I took our most difficult math track (up until calculus- AB > BC), but I can't say I know why. I suck at math. I just do well on placement tests (which came in handy for getting me out of precal here).

Lol, Thomas, I can get into geometry during the school year, but there's different criteria needed to get into it during the summer.

Damnn. I took Algebra 2 freshman year. Wait you need a pre-req for Geometry? Isn't it just Algebra 1?

Oh damn, I took Calc AB junior year, fortunately with a good teacher. So many people passed the AP Calc test because of her. Then after that, when I was a senior, all my senior friends failed the AP Calc test because the new teacher was like w/e with everything. I miss high school sad.gif

AUGH DAMN BIO FINAL. I FAIL AT LIFE. cry.gif

At my school you could take Algebra I, then you had the choice of whether to take Geometry or Algebra II next. I had Algebra I in 8th grade, so I took Geometry -> Algebra II (each a semester), Trig (10th grade), and Calculus in 11th grade when I moved to Texas. There were two other people in my Calculus class. xD

Is Trigonometry like.. pre-calculus or something? Well okay I know what trig is (yea yea, sine, cosine, yadayada) in terms of math, but the class itself... does that mirror pre-calc? yea I took pre-calc in 10th grade too, but we didn't have classes by semesters. Our classes were yearly courses.

Trig = Pre-cal. XD.gif

Pre-requisite for Geo is Alg I, but for the summer you need an A. My teacher gives me effed up grades on my tests because "your line isn't straight enough" and "I couldn't distinguish the number." I could've been in Algebra II now but I purposely BS'd my pre-algebra exam in 7th grade and got a bad Algebra teacher 8th grade year. mellow.gif

I love Bio. throb.gif

And umm I'm nervous for my game today. D:

At most schools here, people take trig if they're not headed towards taking calculus. I think it basically serves as easier precal.

For me, algebra I (8th grade) -> geometry -> algebra II -> precal -> AP calculus. The only choice I really had was to take stats instead of calc.
