I am not really into emo, but i like the way emo looks...if that makes sense to you.

But i like the simplicity of it.
I see how you were mixing the pink and yellow of her clothes, but idk i don't really like the yellow and pink it isn't a good combo, but it goes with it, and you some how make it fit in the layout but i wouldn't change a thing, maybe choose someone with better colored clothes?

You should of been told why your layout was rejected. If it wasn't you can PM the person that rejected it and ask them why.

Although I would of rejected the layout as well. your brushes on the layout are way to random.. They are thrown everywhere (which is a style some use) but then they are not occupying space or anything. They just sit there. The picture of the girl is extremely plain there is nothing going on there at all. And you went a little too random. It's like you said "hey aw this stick figure brush is cute, let me throw this here". Try thinking about what you put on your layouts before you do it. The background is a little eh too with the layout. The colors fit but it's just not to appealing. Overall I don't see anything real special about it, and I don't know the exact reason why it was rejected , you can ask the person who rejected it.

I don`t particularly like the checkered background; it seems like there`s too much going on. And the greenish color inside the div doesn`t really go well at all, imo.

It needs to be toned down a bit, cuz it's SUPER BRIGHT.
Maybe lower the opacity a little?
Other than that, my only complaint is the tiny text box aove the links.
I'd like it if that were a bit bigger.

But everything else is awesome.
I love the layout, and Ima go listen to her music. =]

Thank you for the great advice everyone. Do you think If I changed all of those things, It would be accepted? or is the layout totally hopeless?

Personally ive seen worse that has been accepted so haven't done bad at all. I do actually really like it, although the picture of the person on it isnt very imaginative which lets down the whole thing i think.
I really like the hover effect though (:

Keep it up, but just try & change things to make it more imaginative, but dont go overboard n__n

the background yeah.. its kinda really.. distracting. personally, i think the film brush on the top right corner is very cliche and also does not fit with the images at all. the rest are okay, though i think you still could fix it up more because it seems like something that anyone can do pretty quickly (the image, not the coding lol)
