I can't do anything because it says there is not enough memory(RAM).

What does that mean and what do I do?

Do I have to delete stuff to make room? Because lord knows I should!

Have PS worked before the error appeared?

- Try closing out the applications that are running and it might cause PS to slow down and it shows the error. RAM is like basically the speed of your computer on applications and such.

I checked the adobe site and it seems like the requirements must be 192 MB of RAM (256 MB recommended). To check your ram, go to start -> run -> type in dxdiag then something will show up and there will be RAM: ##mb or gb.

However, most computers meet the requirements so I suggest to close out the running applications on the computer (if you have too many things running - except your antivirus/firewall stuff) and start PS again. If not, you can try to reboot and minimize the programs that are running.

Thank you both so much for the tips! I never knew how to check RAM before, so I'll check that out.

And I'm gonna reboot now to see if it works.
