So as I'm rushing out of my house this morning, I unfamiliar, shrill, chirping coming from Misty and Smoothie's cage. I look inside Misty's little nest I made out of a Cheerio box and shredded pieces of paper and notice the broken eggshell laying beside Misty... but no baby. So I poke my finger into the cage and Misty wiggles out of her nest and comes after me like the little territorial beast that she is and low and behold, underneath her was an ugly, eye-less, tiny, naked little creature!

omgosh. my parents have two pairs of lovebirds, and they've been waiting for babies for a long time. but everytime one lays an egg it never hatches ;[.
