MAP PROBLEM...THE "#" Options

The image mapping works with Firefox but doesn't with IE.

The problem is here: usemap="#navigation">
When i put the code in ABOUT ME in safe mode... the # disappear and the code became usemap="navigation"> without # and doesn't work in INTERNET EXPLORER. IE requires code with # ahead navigation but # disappear... how i can do?
