Why do females give out a phone number to a guy then blow him off? Also, why would a female give out her number, always encourages the guy to call, but then out of the blue tell the dude to stop calling just because she has a new bf? Why would it matter if we're friends.. right?? Or is it something I'm missing??

She might have given the number out on a whim, but decided she was no longer interested once the male called.

Maybe she was interested when she did give out the phone number but entered a relationship and therefore doesn't want to complicated things by talking to a guy who asked for her number (since that generally entails romantic interest vs friendship).

Unless you asked for her number under friendship terms, you're a suitor. If she has a boyfriend, you're a possible complication she'd like to avoid. If you were a suitor, and now just want to be a friend, specify so.

I have a better question for you....

Why don't guys follow the two day rule? Why is it that when a guy gets a girls number, they automatically think that she is feeling him? Why can't guys come to the realization, that the same games we play, girls play them as well, and in some cases, even better than us.

I have a better question for you....

Who on this horrible planet came up with this two day rule? This rule is mother f**king retarded. What is the difference between giving out your number and 48 hours later? 72 hours? 96 hours? A whole damn week? If a girl/guy changes her mind about the person they gave their number to after 24 hours, probably isn't worth the time to pursue.

exactly, dude.

in every single one of your threads, you seem to think that when a girl gives you her number, she's looking for a lifelong commitment with you.
