Is there a free subdomain hoster, or even a directory hoster that allows you to create your own designs for them, that is as easy to use as freewebs? (i'm not talking about directories such as myspace, xanga, etc..)

There are tons of places where you can get hosted. Everyone practically hosts subdomains. It really isn't that hard to find them. Resource sites tend to host people too. Here are a few that I have bookmarked: Disasterous, dothost, haddixfam, biztc, 000webhost, FamedHost, and you can always search up Yahoo for some results as well. Here's a searching I did in Yahoo! The searches seem pretty great, click here. I hope this helps you out a little bit. :D. Oh and also, someone on createBlog is looking for hostees, so you can possibly check out her site and apply if you meet her requirements. Topic is here.
