If you haven't taken it, don't vote.

I took that driving test today, and after one mistake he f**king cut the test short, and said it was over. is he really allowed to even do that?! I didn't look both ways when making a left turn on a "T street" so he figures this one car that was way back was about to hit us, and he starts freaking out. so he's like make a u-turn the test is over.

I had been in the car for no longer than 2 minutes. I'm pretty pissed.plus two of my classes know i took it today, so when i go to school tomorrow i will look a fool :(

I passed my first time. My sister had to do it a second.

They can stop the test right then and there if they want. LIke if they tell you to stop or if they intervene in any way, it's an automatic fail. There are some other ones too, the automatic fail things. I just forgot most of them. One is if you hit something (no brainer), or if you like miss 3 of the pre-test, you fail. like the hand signals and buttons. Also, if you don't listen to his/her directions.

^I think she's talking about the road test, not the written.

I passed my first time. Yeah, they're definitely allowed to cut you off after a mistake. My friend and I were just talking about this; she tried to take a left instead of a right, so they failed her for not following directions. I kind of got lucky because I had never backed into a parking spot before the test, so it was kind of miraculous that I pulled in.

I passed my first time, barely. But I know a lot of my friends go their tests cut short as well for mistakes in the beginning.

I "ran a red light", so I failed my first time. I didn't know I had to make a complete stop at a red light when I was turning right. laugh.gif

I passed the second time.

I failed the first time under "dangerous maneuver"

Dangerous maneuver my f**king ass. It's not my fault if some dumbf**k runs into the street without f**king looking. Stupid cow.

Should've run them over.

mellow.gif

They can stop the test as soon as you fail under "dangerous maneuver" since its an automatic fail.

Wtf? That's stupid. You're supposed to go through with the whole test. If you get more than fourteen errors, you'll fail. I got four. But they were stupid ones. Like "Did not stop for three seconds at stop sign"

Exactly! I've been driving since June 2007, so i think i know if i have enough time to make a left turn before a car smashes into me.

i was flippin out.

It`s ok! The first time i failed, there was more than one reason. The second time i failed was because i forgot to take off the emergency break. _dry.gif The third time, i ran someone over.

shifty.gif

Nowadays, i never forget any of that stuff.

But wtf, he shouldn`t have done that, he should have continued with the entire test, that`s how it works.

Lol. I think I break about 55465654 traffic laws every time I drive somewhere.

I don't signal anymore, stop at stop signs, stop before taking a red light right turn, stay under the speed limit, slow during yellow, or share the road to name a few. :X

I passed the first time with an ok score. My problem was left turns and MERGING. I was supposed to merge to the left lane and when I looked to check my blind spot, I moved the wheel to the right and almost jumped the curb. Luckily that wasn't enough to cut the test short laugh.gif

The written test... a different story. I barely passed that. I think I was a question away from failing.

The only mistake she told me that I made was while making a right turn during a red light, I didn't look the other way to check if there was oncoming traffic.
she looked like a bitch but she was pretty cool since I passed the first time.
I had to take it at the DMV though, most of the kids were able to take it at my school. But I didn't get an overall B for Drivers Ed so yeah ]:

I passed on the first try. It's f**ked up how you can't drive yourself back home after passing.

This one girl failed miserably, she didn't put on her seatbelt, didn't signal a bunch of times and did some other stupid shit. When she heard I passed she started sobbing. I felt kind of bad.

Not really. Keep bad drivers off the road.

Why would you not be able to drive yourself home after passing? Minus the part where you probably drove with someone to get there and probably couldn't just leave them.

I passed the first time, but I was lucky. The way its set up is if you don't parallel park correctly, then you automatically fail the test. I did very well on the entire test, and then when I tried to park, i hit the curb. Normally that would mean failing, but the guy was very forgiving and gave me another chance. To this day I am still not that good at parallel parking.

I passed it on my first time. Phew. I was so nervous.

Don't worry about failing, I heard worse scenarios then yours.

One of my friend barely took his test in less than a minute. First, you drive around the DMV building since it had turns. As my friend finished turning around the building, he then started to exit, however, this part was really tricky. It was a sharp turn and my friend hit the curb. The instructor stopped him and the test was over. He hit the curb and he was done, so now he has to re-do it. xD

I guess it might be NY state or my area only... they told me because sometimes kids are too excited after passing and end up getting into accidents. Which is a pretty stupid reason, but whatever, I got my license, I was celebrating and this fat girl was sobbing.
