i wanna learn how to use it.

and make icons
and layer crap.

its alot more difficult then i thought.

so can anyone help
or give my tips on how to learn
how to use it.?

Unfortunately, when you buy - or download - Photoshop, it doesn't upload it's many varied and technical functions into your brain for free. You have to work at it!

Try Googling for tutorials, as well as checking out the hundreds of tutorials that Createblog offers. Use a bit of initiative.

There are also several tutorials here for icons and such. Browse through tutorials in the Photoshop section.

You can use tutorials to help you navigate your way around Photoshop -- but you're really just going to have to find your way around and learn things through playing with all the tools and trial and error.

You develop your own style that way too.

Hmm, you didn't post which version you have, but I can honestly say that per everyone's advice here that you could definitely try looking up tutorial websites, and also- may I suggest you try the Help feature built into the Photoshop application? When I first started, they had some pretty useful information & tutorials featured within the program itself which were a huge help to me.
