I only ask when I'm going to the bathroom and don't want to deal with it. Or if I need both hands.

It's just like asking them to hold anything else. As long as you don't keep them holding it, then it's fine.

when I need to do something and my purse is in the way I have him hold it for me. It's not like its over his shoulder and he's walking around with it...and clearly it's not his.

I wouldn't... Maybe only if I had to tie my shoe for a second and I had a big tote or something.

I would ask him if I need to do something with both of my hands, or if I'm going to the washroom. But it's not like I keep him holding it so it's fine...and I like to hold my own purse.

if im shopping and holding alot of clothes or something. he will take it from me until we pay. only when im struggling or about to drop stuff he usually takes it then gives it back as soon as he can.

Only if I'm putting on or taking off a coat or sometime when I need both arms for a quick moment, but never for anything else or for a long time.

Damn, I think you're my long-lost sister that I never had. I hate purses, and if I need tampons, they just go into the boyfriend's pockets.

agreed with the bathroom thing.
yea, sometimes we need to use our hands for something else.

its gay if theyre wearing around their shoulders. but if they were swingin it around (not that i would particularly like that), it would be much less gay.

and no, never for a long time

Agreed. It totally spoils the nature of w/e it is I'm doing. Freakin annoying~

So I usually wear jackets/shirts/pants w. pockets.

I seriously wonder how some of those chicks parade around w. their purses at their elbow in that one arm position (if you know what I mean). Wouldn't they get a cramp? O_O

Oh man, I was scared to click on this topic in case it was about men with manbags, laugh.gif

My boyfriend always insists upon carrying anything heavy or unwieldy. It's gentlemanly and I love to see it.
