So, WI doesn't get many popular people. Unless if you count Barack Obama staying here for a while before our primary.
Buuuuut, Johnny Depp and Christian Bale are coming! And they're going to be right by my town! Schweeeet, my friends and I are going to storm the set. And after I bail myself out, I'll post how cool it was on here. (Here's the article: http://www.channel3000.com/news/15416302/detail.html ) I put this in the lounge, and not entertainment, because... well it gets more coverage (duh). But seriously, how often do you get to see famous people? Do live in the middle of nowhere, where it would be a huge deal? Or do you live somewhere where it's kind of a normal thing? |

I remember awhile ago Will Smith came down to a part of NJ about... 20? minutes from me to shoot the last scene of I Am Legend. It was the town inside the wall.. the safe town or whatever. Yeah. That was exciting.

That's really cool.
To answer your questions, movies are shot in NYC all the time so it's not that unusual for famous actors and actresses to be sighted. I have yet to see one myself, though. |

Some people have come to San Francisco, mostly in Downtown. All the celebrities that come to SF mainly are met in Metreon (Lowes Theatre). I've only met the cast of Veronica Mars but Tyra Banks have been there too. Also the cast of Quintuplets came to Stonestown (sunset?) and Esteban from Suite Life of Zack and Cody came too. I didn't get to meet any of them except the cast of Veronica Mars because I wasn't able to reach the time that they were there.
My cousins got me some autographs from the Quintuplets though!

Nobody ever comes to my town either.
In the summer the actors who play the Weasely twins came to my neighboring town when Harry Potter was in theaters. It kind of sucked because you had to pay 15 bucks for an autograph. |

My friend and I went there today. It's really close to where I live. We got pictures! and pictures of the director. The people from Hollywood were all wearing, like, 3 coats.
The funny thing is, they came and took away all the snow and made their own fake snow... so that it would look more real. wtf? does it get anymore real than the snow we have? |
