For all those Photo shop users i just have to know... Where did u get your Photoshop from? when i looked for one it was 650$! Did u really shell out that much money for this program or what?

No, my uncle brought me a burned copy, that he got from his nephew, which got his Photoshop included with his computer, so we all won that week.

Yup. It's that much and goes up every time a new version comes out. It's a ridiculous price, I know. If you're an educator or something, you get a couple hundred off, but it's still expensive. I got my copy from my friend, who had it on CD. How she got it, I don't know.

O.o; I started out using GIMP which is really quite amazing for a free program, and then my uncle gave me his computer and it had photoshop on it! I like almost cried :D

^ I started off with Gimp as well. In fact, i still have it. There are some stuff i do on there that i dont exactly know how to do on photoshop. or, i simply find it easier on Gimp.
I also got photoshop from a friend who had the cd. i dont know where she got it either

Got Adobe CS3 Design Standard (includes Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Stock Photos) for $230 on my college bookstore's educational discount. Yes, I got it legally.

My mom's friend at work had a copy of Photoshop CS2 (including Imageready and all that goodstuff) and she installed the programs on my computer.
Before that, I was just using trial versions and even killed my old PC to get one of those keygen crack thingies... That's why that computer is being repaired now (virus overload). Don't ever try that unless you're incredibly desparate XD. |

my friend got me photoshop cs like three years ago.
then my other friend gave me a burned cd for cs2. and my cousin gave me the burned cd for cs3 like three/four months ago. so all cd's were burnt. :D |

Some mixup happen. My lovely boyfriend handed me a blank CD and it JUST so happen to have CS3 on it. Yeah, most people I know... don't get it legally. |

I got it first from my sisters friend whose brother stole it from his office [haha].
Then my laptop crashed and burned so I got GIMP and then Photoshop again after I found out my friend had the CD. Find a friend who has it :) |

I got my Photoshop from my sister who had a CD. I saw it and asked her if I could borrow it. The CD basically had the installation for CS2 (it also included ImageReady with it) and mykeygen. A long time ago when I had my 7.0, my sister's ex boyfriend gave us the CD (I don't even know why) and this one was a legal copy I think. I didn't know Photoshop was that expensive. O_o. I always thought that it was around 200-300 dollars or so (at least that's what I was told when my friend got it).

what a funny topic, i have Cs2 on my desktop because i ask the persopn who fixes computers to install it, I had photoshop 7 on my laptop that I got from limewire, but after that i got Cs3 through torrents, cracks and keygens:[[[]]]]
