Slaraffenland- Polaroids

A hundred cannonballs in uneasy orbits above your head. You fired them only one by one, over the years, and not often. You thought nothing of it. You liked the fizz and boom. But now you wait for the bus, you lie in bed, and you imagine them swimming up there, each in a separate trajectory. You wonder when one of the things you set in motion will lunge at your resting form. It's the only thing you dream about. It's the only thing you hope for.

Toby Foster - Baseball Caps.

"I'm glad that you taught me to do things like ride my bike when it's easier to drive. I'm glad that you taught me to do things like take the train to the city of Chicago. I'm glad that now I know why it's cool to ride my bike when it's easier to drive. I'm glad that now I know why it's cool to make your own pizza when it's easier to call Domino's"

I've never played Guitar Hero! I'm deprived. sad.gif

Anyways, ALO - Maria.

This song reminds me of food. This guy who I had to write a poem with introduced me to it, and he loves food. All he thinks about is food. It only makes sense for me to think about food every time I listen to this song.

The Moldy Peaches - Anyone Else But You.

"Here is the church and here is the steeple. We sure are cute for two ugly people."

P.S. I'm listening to an album, not a soundtrack.

People's endless quoting of that song is killing it for me. It makes me want to be an emo indie bitch and whine about how I knew about the Mold Peaches/Kimya way before Juno.

Romantica- Oscar Wilde

I do enjoy Oscar Wilde. Good song, too.

No kidding; I'm in the same frustrated camp. And, I never go to camp.

Ghost Mice - Oh Me, Oh Me.

"Oh angel, oh angel come and lend me your sword or just a word so I know it's truth. Oh devil, oh devil come and eat my broken heart or just sing me a song so I know it's you. Oh mother, oh mother take me in your arms. Take care of me the way you use to. Oh father, oh father can't you fix these broken things? If you can't than can't you build me something new? Oh lover, oh lover why won't you save me? Why can't you be everything? Oh me, oh me, why won't you be happy? Oh me, oh me, oh me."
