When I first saw this topic, I thought that it was going to be a fire starter, because the smoke was definitely there....I was somewhat right.

It's kind of rude to dig up really old posts and then chastise us for it...

QUOTE
Chastise no longer disorients the target, but now is instant cast and roots the target for 2 seconds.

it's okay your chastise had little effect compared to what it used to do. she would have been stunned for two seconds, instead she was just rooted.

I think he was just making an observation, not leaving the forums over it.

Oh, the leaving thing was really more about the "design" reference I made. I didn't say he was leaving, because I did read his first post pretty thoroughly. I was just saying that we can't blame him for the first impression he got of the forums. As he said, he wasn't trying to be rude, he thought he was being helpful in posting this and didn't realize that the topics he read don't necessarily reflect the overall atmosphere of the site. We just can't really jump on him for that. =\

I just don't like seeing "new-ish" people posting their opinions and getting attacked for it. He's not trying to be rude, so we shouldn't take it as that.

In all seriousness, sometimes things do get tense around here, but it really has improved A LOT over the past few months. Sometimes you just need a thick skin and be able to not take things personally. Sometimes people are just plain bitchy. It happens to everyone.

I think the best way to go about it, if you have concerns is to point them out right then and there. Otherwise it's difficult to get retroactive context, if that makes any sense.

I definitely don't think that it's a warzone on here, I just think that people have strong opinions. What I have noticed on here, is that a lot of a lot of people on here cannot take honesty, but then again, that comes with the majority of the users on here being kids. The bickering that is seen from time to time, is only human nature, because unfortunately, we can't live in a big fairy land. I have bickered with people before, but at the end of the day, I am on this site more than my other forums, because at least here they keep it interesting.

Technically if everyone misses the drama that much, we could just start some. Give me someone to fight with. shifty.gif
