You know those people who say, "Hello, hi?" instead of, "Excuse me?"? I don't know why, but I find them so confusing! Its hard to tell whether or not they're talking to me or saying hi to their friend. _unsure.gif Like today, I was eating out for dinner with my mom and I left my take out on the table and the guy kept saying, "Hello? Hi?". So I figured he was talking to a customer...turns out it was me. Has this ever happened to you guys or do you guys do this?

Oh, you mean when people go "Hell-o?!" in that extra pissy tone? Gahd it pisses me off. As if they're so dominant and all that. I used to say that more but not really anymore.

Some people just don't know their way with words, I guess.

With the whole "Hello, hi?" thing, I don't think that's ever really happened to me. Well, not to the point where I'm confused about what that saying refers to.

But the whole "Hell-o?!" thing that Michelle just mentioned, ugh, I hate that too. pinch.gif

Exactly. Hasn't happened to me much though I have to say...half the time at work though I get... "Umm...erm...excuse me. Do you work here?"

Isn't it obvious when all the workers wear blazers and I'm standing there folding underwear? Seriously.

It doesn't really bother me. It's more awkward for them than me, so I don't bother with it.

And I used to get that too Steph when I worked at Forever 21.

I was like, "No. I choose to wear this hideously yellow tag for kicks." rolleyes.gif
