i got my tripod out and everything, ready for the total. snapped a few pics before, batteries died. went inside, replaced batteries, went ouside, set it up again, batteries died right when i was going to click the button. :[[[
i did get a few of before the total, though. they're not very good quality. i'm uploading them now so i guess i'll edit later. [edit] once again, not good quality. thumbed. |

My dad tried like mad to get a picture. It just wouldn't come out. Kudos for you! I saw it last nigh after I came out of class. It was really beautiful. My friend said the stupidest thing to me today. She was like, "The moon wasn't out last night! Did anyone notice that? I thought the world was ending! I think this is a sign of global warming." I don't know if I can be friends with her after she said that. |

I was going to watch it, but I lost track of time and missed it. :T. Thanks for showing the pictures, RockItStudios. At least I have a better view of how it looks. I remember on the day of some kind of eclipse (one that happened in 2007), the sun was redish and orange in the morning (around 8) and I thought it was something about the eclipse (the eclipse ended way before 8, probably a couple of hours before) but it was really from wildfires and etcetera lol. I didn't have a clue until my teacher told me. x__x;;

^really? i always thought it was awkward since the night before an eclipse, the moon has always been redish...? i dunno, it's just weird, so that doesn't explain much. >_<

I just thought it would be okay to mention it since it's still talking about eclipses. And kyrogenix, those pictures are absolutely stunning! Now I feel like I missed quite a lot, didn't I? |

I was watching it on the beach with my neighbor from 5pm-7pm. The sun was setting and as it disappeared into the ocean (not literally) it became nearly blood red, it was awesome! |

I read the article and saw the posted times online and I told myself I would go outside to see it. It turns out I turned a movie on at the wrong time and lost track of time, therefore, I didn't see the eclipse.
