Total Lunar Eclipse

So is anyone watching for the lunar eclipse tonight? Tonight its viewable from North and South America. People in Europe and Africa will be able to see it high in the sky before dawn tomorrow. Its going to be viewable beginning around 7 p.m. if youre on the West Coast and 10 p.m. if youre on the East Coast.
Anyone taking pictures? _smile.gif

i always watch, but i never take pictures. it's kinda pointless if you don't have a high powered camera that enables you to see the moon's crevices ;o

There were two last year and I missed them both. I'm excited for the one tonight because the next one wont be till December of 2010.

I tried photographing, without much success. Not a very good view from where I'm at.

Kryo's shooting it too, maybe he'll have better luck.

I tried taking a picture with my camera, but I need a tripod to have the night scenery mode and it turned out really bad.

I watched it, it was beautiful. If the sky's clear, get out some good quality binoculars and look below the moon... or just left of the moon, you'll see saturn and her beautiful rings :D

I wish saturn could be our moon :(

Saturn will be visible for the next 11 months.

I missed it! I just looked at this thread just now and it's already 10:36 PM so I'm late. =[

Darn, I wanted to see it. Hopefully I'll see the 2010 one.
