MODS- I looked throught alot of your posts "find posts by this user" I have noticed them and all they are is basically helpfull, it is awesome. Sure, some things can go on behind closed doors... but in the community I saw that it is all help.... help that is appreciated.

Thankyou, Trish. I'm really glad someone finally came out and said something about the way the mods have been talked about recently.

Most of you guys know that I'm fairly new to the whole mod thing on here. I will be honest in saying that prior to being a mod, I had thoughts like 'oh, modding doesn't seem that hard. Piece of cake. I could do that no prob' because I had no idea what it was like to be in their position, and have to deal with all the things mods deal with on a daily basis.

I never realized how tough it is to be a mod on cb. Like Trish said, there's over 20,000 members on here that we have to look out for, and do what's best for the entire createblog community. And like its been said before, mods are people too. They just have a different title than most of the other members. They should be treated with the same respect you would extend to any human being - and sometimes even more. Modding is a tough job!

Honestly though, being a mod here at cb has been one of the best things I've ever had the chance to do as far as internet - communities go. I've made so many new friends here, and its just been a great overall experience.

Thank you to my fellow moddies, for making Createblog what it is today. and thankyou to Trish for getting something off her chest that really needed to be said.

I gotta say.. good speeches and thanks, Trish, for making this thread. it's good that you got that off your chest becuse we all needed to hear that, mods and members alike.

I know this may seem a little.. off-topic, but the greatest thing that I got to go through while being a mod was the fact that I got to learn what it's like to be a big part of something. i'm not a popular person at school, I don't go out that much,a nd plus, i'm a very.. WIERD and I mean WIERD person. I know that the official members as well as the admins and regular members are just as important because they contribute to the daily flow of posts, information, help, thoughts, opinions, etc. They all are a big part of our community as well. I mean, without them, cB would die.. Well okay, maybe just htat it would be closed down.

I'm glad I got to meet new people and I'm glad that cB was created. Sure, there are big changes that have happened, and it's been hectic. I am on people staff, but I do occasionally ahve to move a topic oir I have to close something or even change some stuff (rarely). yea, the xanga staff and design staff and coding all have a tougher job, but without their support, idk where cB would be. Damn right, if you got a problema nd you can't settle it calmly, then you have no business being here. And to those who do bash, get your *bleep*ing facts straight, okay? Sheesh.

Okay I'm done. be back in a little over a week.

I don't mind the mods, but there are some I'd like to slap in the head sometimes. The ones that are rude, act like their shit don't stink and think they are oh so powerful simply because they hold the title...although I must say that maybe some of the ones I speak of aren't mods here anymore or are on vacation...cuz I havent seen em around.

What young mods..?

Ahhh Geez, don't make me remember names because it's not gonna happen. Back in Feb, March...maybe it was march and April....well either way there were some younger mods and if they weren't mods they went around saying they were. I believe they were like 13 and 14 yrs. old. There used to be an old thread about Mods (from back then)where I originally brought this up. One was a chick and I swear she followed a couple people around just so she could critisize them in every thread they posted in. It was annoying to read and as a mama myself i would have liked to wring her little 13 yr. old neck.

I want to personally thank all the mods for all of the hard work that they have done for the overall community in createblog. I've been a member here for quite a while, and I know that they've been really helpful in trying to resolve any problems and eliminating anything that would possibly cause chaos in the forums. So don't bash on the mods; all they've been trying to do is to help out. Sometimes, they don't mean to be strict, but they just want to enforce the rules in order to ensure a friendly environment here in the createblog community and making sure everything is hunky-dory.

So for all you mods, thank you very much!
