Wow, I've been seeing previews / trailers for this movie A LOT, and I am SO excited for this movie... more excited than people were for 300!

Across the Universe is a musical about the 60's, and I believe that they sing to only the Beatles' music... :] (well, that's what they've been playing on the trailers). It looks like such an inspirational / artsy movie. I'm obsessed!

Of course my town sucks and we probably won't ever get this movie in this town >_>

I live in a town with less then 30,000 people. We have a Carmike 6...and also living in a redneck town means we barely get anything "controversial or artistic" (Brokeback Mountain, Crash, The Queen, etc.) But we are getting this movie on Friday, so have high hopes :)

I saw it for a dollar!

I missed the first 15 minutes because everyone else wanted to see it for a dollar too, but it was quite good.

So was I.

Movie was excellent though. I saw it on DVD and I really regret not going to the show to see it.

Yep the movie + soundtrack is definately awesome (although not on dvd yet in Aus grrr!)

I loved Jude's (Jim Sturgess's) cover of Revolution and Something.

I thought it was fantastic though I didn't have any expectations really.
The songs were covered wonderfully in my opinion.
Jim Sturgess was good but Joe Anderson was my favorite. blush.gif
