I would have to load up PS to look (I don't have these things memorized). For now though, I'm going to move this over to graphic help for you.

what exactly do you mean how?
the slice tools cuts up your image, which is useful for high-quality pictures, overlays, and image mapping/rollovers. you just click and drag. to save slices go to file>>save for web. |

There are plenty of tutorials that you can find on google for image slicing.
As for the pen tool, you can refer to this tutorial or this one. You need a lot of patience with the pen tool; just practice and keep a steady hand on your mouse. |
