Braces and Extractions |

I have my braces on right now, but my extraction isn't until 2 weeks.
The plan is... in 2 weeks I'm going to my dentist and he's going to remove the wire for me and then send me off to the surgeons that same day. After the surgeons extract 2 premolars on each side, I get sent back to my dentist and he applies the wire back on. Won't that hurt my wound even more? I mean.. the teeth are going to move slowly and hit the wounds. Has any of you ever had wires put back on immediately after extraction? |
