.. no, nvm. THEY'RE CALLING AT THE FAG BEHIND ME.

So that happened to me today. A couple people were like "PSST!" right in front of me. I look at them and smile and I'm like "k?" But no, it's some fag behind me that they're psst-ing at.

Doesn't that piss you off? -_-

I've started a habit of looking back before I wave back because this has happened to me enough. Haven't had many incidents when they were talking to the person behind me though, just the waving thing.

Oh yeah. Sometimes I look back first, but I try to stay away from doing that cause - if they really are waving at me - I might seem like a bitch or something.

Otherwise, yes, I also perform hand "spasms." Or if I smile, I try to clean my teeth and gums instead.

Do you also pretend to clean your teeth when someone's waving at another person behind you?

I know exactly what you mean. It is the most awkward moment ever. Or when someone says hi, so you say hi back, but they were really hi-ing the person behind you.

It doesn't piss me off, it just makes me feel kind of embarrassed.
If no one, or people I don't know, notice, I just brush it off and act like it never happened.
But if my friends witnessed it then they'd probably laugh at me, and I'll laugh at myself too.

Either way, I'd feel embarrassed in some capacity. ph34r.gif

Edit// Actually, this just reminded me of an incident that happened a few weeks ago. I was at school and this guy waved and said, "Hey". I thought he was talking to me, because we actually have a class together but we've never talked. So I greeted him back saying, "Hey". But then he gave me this weird look like Wth are you? He told me he wasn't talk to me, and I immediately (in panic mode) said I wasn't talking to him either, but to my friend who was walking up behind him. Thank goodness my friend happened to come up at that moment, 'cause after that I walked up to her and acted casual, as if nothing happened. Whew. sweating.gif

I don't wave back. I won't say anything at all. Until I'm damn near face to face, I act as though I'm not being addressed.

haha, I always look behind me first if its someone that I don't think I know XD

Of course I have my slips at work, I always greet someone and don't notice their on the phone and they just start talking randomly, so I always say 'what? o_O" Ah the many rich brats I've pissed off for interrupting their conversations.

I wave back usually when I'm like 95% sure it's meee, like when they say my name. xDD haha.
But it also pisses me off when I wave to someone and they totally walk past it lol. xD

both makes me feel retarded. D:
